After a brief and necessary hiatus, Osmosis Tones is back to bring you up to date on new releases and current events with a note from our editor.

Sometimes, silence is important.

I may be a queer man, and have experienced hatred and varying levels of oppression because of my sexuality, but I have never had my entire life dictated by a police state, by the systemic forces of a racist system, by an entire nation that refuses to grant justice or unite its people.

Simply put, this was not Osmosis Tones' time to talk about music. It was our time to stay quiet, to listen to what was happening, to continue to shift and refine our focus onto promoting music and supporting the artists and progressive causes they believe in.

There's no need for me to offer a well-intentioned note summarizing the past few weeks to you, dear reader.

There is only need for direct action, solidarity, unequivocal support of POC and queer communities, and a forceful change in the ways of our miserable world.

Below, you will find a master document of nationwide charities and organizations to donate to in support of Black Lives Matter, as well as organizations fighting for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.

You will also find 21 FANTASTIC ALBUMS from the past few months that are all worthy of your attention - from emo and power pop to indie pop and soul-jazz.

Black Lives Matter. Defund the Police. Fight the Good Fight. And a very happy Pride Wrath Month.
